Where traditionally the restoration industry has used harsh chemicals to reduce smell and to disinfect surfaces, we use and promote a range of eco-friendly products in all our services. Our goal is to always leave a site better than we found it.
DKI Canada and our Members across the country use and promote the use of a range of Green Seal Certified and biological cleaning product. We believe in using these types of products to not only reduce the impact of waste and chemicals on our environment significantly, but to also keep you, and anyone who visits your property, safe.
Biological cleaning products use plant-based spores that work by producing biosurfactants and enzymes that clean and disinfect. Bacteria and enzyme based cleaning products have the additional benefit that they can keep doing their work long after they are applied to a surface.

Peter Hickey, Vice-President, National Programs Group
Peter has been in the restoration industry nearly a decade. As a member of the Business Development team, Peter is VP of the National Programs Group which manages DKI Canada accounts for specialized clients. Peter maintains membership with the Law Society of New Brunswick as well as the Canadian Bar Association. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and coaching basketball at the local and provincial level.
